Met a few people here for dinner, and I was amazed at how good the food tasted. The prices are a bit higher than expected but what isn't nowadays. Parking wasn't an issue as the other businesses we closed when we came. Our server was nice, but her service was a little slow. The patio was nice, and it's a really cool place. We'd return if we are in the area again.

Food was great quality and the service was great too. I had chopped salad. My husband had the monte cristo and my son had a burger. Very very good!

Walked in for an early dinner on a Friday. Place was about three quarters full. Might get a bit crowded during the usual rush, so be aware. Sign said seat yourself so we did. Only took a couple or three minutes before menus were delivered and drinks were ordered. Started off with a pretzel. It was huge and served right - fresh, hot and on a hanger. Delivered by one of the owners with a smile. Good pretzel, good sauces. I have a special weakness for deep fried food, so I had to try the deep fried Monte Cristo with the strawberry rhubarb compote. It did not disappoint. It seems to be a signature dish. Not sure where the inspiration for that came from, but it would not be out of place at the Texas State Fair (where they deep fry anything and everything). Decor is...neighborhood bar? They have a cash discount, so bring some. Not sure how I have overlooked this place until now.
